Airports of China



China is home to a number of airports. China is increasingly gaining prominence in the world arena, because of its booming economy as well as its outstanding tourist attractions, that adorn the landscape of the country. The Pudong International Airport is one of the main airports of China. The airport is located at a distance of 30 kilometer from the central part of Shanghai. Airports of China are well connected by bus, metro and taxi routes from the city.

The Pudong International airport is connected to the metro service in Shanghai by means of a new type of magnetic train, known as the Maglev.



The whole trip to reach the airport is a matter of just eight minutes and it is not very costly even. The ticket is priced at ¥50. There are also taxi routes, that join the airport to the city but taxis tend to become more expensive than the metro service. The airport are available and usually the most convenient way to the city, but they are more expensive.



Most airports in China have their services divided in two terminals, domestic and international.The airport provide facilities of banks, ATMs, currency exchange, may be a post office, facilities for storing the luggage, a Business Center as well as an Internet hub and also duty free shops, cafes and restaurants.
